Call for Entries
Entry Deadline: Saturday, September 25, 2010
Exhibit October 4 to October 29, 2010
Opening reception October 14, 2010 5pm-7pm The Ankeny Art Center will be hosting its annual photo contest this October. All entries are due by Saturday, September 25, 2010. Entry fee is $25 for three pieces. If you wish to enter more than three there will a $5 charge for each additional piece submitted. Entries can be drop off with the application any time before September 25th before noon.

All accepted entries must be gallery ready when dropped off at the Ankeny Art Center. ALL WORK MUST BE FRAMED AND WIRED TO HANG. ( A correct wired piece will have a cable wire or minimum of 18 gauge wire that is strung from one side of the frame to the other. Standard picture frame hooks will not be accepted.) Ankeny Art Center reserves the right to exclude any work that they or the juror do not see fit. There are no size requirements.

Please label the back of all entries with the following:

Full name,

title, price( if applicable),

and contact information.

The opening reception is set for Thursday, October 14 ,2010. The exhibit will be on display until October 28, 2010.

All gallery ready pieces must be delivered to the Ankeny Art Center before Saturday, September 25, 2010 at noon. Works delivered after that date will not be accepted.

Entries are open to all US residents over the age of 18.

Cash prizes will be awarded for Best in Show, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
